Job summary

Kalshi, the first CFTC-regulated prediction market exchange, is hiring a Quant Researcher to build indices, new models, and quant problems as the business scales. You will own problems end to end, ship models into production, and work directly with engineering, product, and trading.

Qualifications

• Strong math, stats, and quant finance background.
• Hands-on with Python, statistics, and ML models.
• Comfortable with derivatives; familiarity with risk and VaR preferred.
• 2+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and own quantitative models that go into production, not into decks.
• Develop new indices and research problems across the exchange.
• Work directly with engineering, product, and trading on problems that don't have established solutions.
• Ramp fast on prediction markets and find the edges that others haven't seen yet.
