Talener is helping a prestigious global investment firm in Greenwich, CT, seeking a Software Engineer to support Quant Research initiatives. The role is hybrid—onsite 2 days per week, remote 3 days per week—with a focus on Python-based quant stacks and collaboration with the business side.

The candidate will work on platform development for research and specialized investments, leveraging AI concepts and OO design.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with Python, NumPy and Pandas or other quant stacks.
• Hands-on experience with SQL.
• Understanding of AI and agentic frameworks.
• Experience with design solutions, patterns and object-oriented programming.
• Strong communication and ability to work with the business side.
