Saragossa in New York is seeking a senior systems engineer to own compute infrastructure for quantitative research and live trading. You'll tackle large-scale Linux environments, HPC, GPU workloads, storage, and cloud infrastructure with an emphasis on performance, automation, reliability, and scale.
You will collaborate with researchers, traders, and engineers to provide the tools and infrastructure they need to move faster and generate better results.
Do you enjoy solving the kind of infrastructure problems that most engineers never get to see?
This is not a support role. It's not another cloud engineering position managing Terraform tickets.
You'll be responsible for the compute infrastructure that powers quantitative research and live trading. From large-scale Linux environments and high-performance storage systems to GPU workloads, cloud infrastructure, and distributed compute clusters, you'll be at the center of some of the most demanding engineering challenges in the industry.
You'll work closely with researchers, traders, and engineers to ensure they have the tools and infrastructure needed to move faster, process more data, and generate better results.
The environment is highly technical, with a strong focus on performance, automation, reliability, and scale. You'll have significant ownership over architecture decisions and play a key role in shaping how the platform evolves over the coming years.
We're looking for someone with deep Linux expertise, experience operating large-scale infrastructure, and a passion for building systems that others depend on. Experience with HPC environments, GPU Capacity, distributed compute, cloud infrastructure, or high-performance storage would be highly valued.
