Role: Platform Specialist
Client: Trading Firm – Global collaborative firm run by passionate Computer Scientists
Salary: Up to $170,000 Starting Base + Exceptional bonus/benefits package
Location: New York (3/4 days on site)

About the Role

My client is a top ranked, technology-driven trading firm that pushes tech to the limits and shows this by breaking numerous records. They are looking for an Engineer to join their elite Infrastructure team, designing, supporting, and researching the firm’s low latency/HPC infrastructure. You will be given the chance to assist on high-end projects, eventually leading your own and becoming a professional in low-level systems design. (Full spec. is available)

Successful Candidate Attributes

• Linux Expertise: 2+ Years experience working with Linux.
• Observability: Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Development/Scripting: Strong ability in one or more languages (e.g., Python or Rust).
• Configuration Management: Hands-on experience with configuration management tools.
• Specialization: Previous experience withHPC (High Performance Computing) environments.
