Job summary

AM General in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a Quality Supervisor/Manager to lead the Quality Monitors and oversee finished vehicle inspections in a dynamic manufacturing setting. Qualifications

• 5+ years in Manufacturing/Quality in automotive final assembly or defense manufacturing
• 3+ years of Supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing quality processes and controls
• Effective communication and people leadership skills
• Bachelor or Associate degree preferred or equivalent training and experience

Responsibilities

• Train and qualify Quality Monitors to perform product and process inspection
• Maintain Standard Work for Quality Monitors and FIR content
• Manage QC Systems Loop 2-4 and inspections across facilities
• Coordinate with other functions to ensure accurate vehicle records
• Support DCMA and Direct Sale customers with FIR audits
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement projects
• Document hourly employees time and attendance
