Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a Quality Control Technician for its manufacturing plant in Taunton, MA. The role focuses on electrical testing of wire, components, and assemblies across production stages, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

You will operate high‑potential test equipment, meters, and fiber optic test sets, perform inspections, and contribute to a safe, orderly test area. Overtime on weeknights/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Solid, stable work history with manufacturing experience preferred.
• Awareness of safety procedures and ability to maintain a safe work environment.
• Electrical background preferred (vocational, military, or equivalent experience).
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Testing and inspection of wire, components, cable, and assemblies at various production stages.
• Operate high-potential AC and DC test equipment and various meters/bridges.
• Perform all aspects of testing and final inspection.
• Maintain a safe and orderly test area.
• Training on 2nd shift
