Job summary

Dickson Testing Company in South Gate, CA is seeking a Quality Specialist to generate test plans and create new projects for incoming jobs with minimal supervision. The role involves ensuring adherence to customer specifications and managing documentation throughout the test process.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, creating jobs, preparing test bags and reports, and maintaining metallurgical integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• College degree preferred but not required.
• 1+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in a Quality department preferred.
• Experience in aerospace preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review customer purchase order and determine job requirements.
• Ensure jobs are performed to customer purchase order requirements.
• Verify revision of specifications and obtain from customer if needed.
• Create jobs in computer and enter header information and process requirements.
• Generate test bags, heat treat sheets, labels, and a job package.
• Review test data for completed jobs and ensure metallurgical integrity.
• Issue certified test reports and file all documents in the job package.
• Forward test bags to appropriate production department.
• Other duties as assigned.
