Qualifications

• Experience testing native Android apps is a plus.

Summary:

This is a hybrid role with minimum 3 days in office. We are seeking a Quality & Test Automation Lead to help manage & direct quality assurance resources who are focused on automated and manual testing activities. You will develop and own the test strategy for the testing necessary to release updates our products. will help us ensure continued and improved quality for our products and services enabling customers to maximize the value of our solutions. This position provides an excellent opportunity to exercise your current skills and expand your technical knowledge through your active participation in development and iterative release cycles. You will be part of our engineering team and leverage the application development & lifecycle management processes we utilize to build real world applications.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a talented group of quality assurance resources who are focused on automated and manual testing activities.
• Own the test strategy and execute for our product releases.
• Direct the development of Test Automation to test cloud or on premise deployed version of our projects.
• Manual testing as needed for projects.
• Lead technical validation strategies and infrastructure design to enable testing.
• Provide feedback on key user scenarios, technical designs, and specifications.
• Defining and report on key scenario measures, performance, and quality metrics.

Requirements:

• Prior people management experience is required, preferably in a team driven technical environment.
• Ability to collaborate with others to design and implement testing solutions that ensure quality to support product features envisioned by product management or as needed by development team.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid problem-solving skills.
• Passion for technology and learning new things related to technology.
• Robust working knowledge of modern quality methodologies and techniques.
• Minimum 1 year experience testing responsive web UI applications across multiple devices (tablet, phone or PC).
• Minimum 1 year experience testing Web services (SOAP or RestFul) using SoapUI or JUNIT.
• Experience utilizing source code management tools across multiple projects.
• Experience participating in a team using Agile or other contemporary software development methodologies.
• A Bachelor-level degree, or higher, in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience testing native android mobile apps a plus.
