Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Suppler Quality Technician to provide technical support to supplier quality engineering teams. The role focuses on quality control inspections of non-conforming products at the receiving stage and aiding MRB processes to ensure compliance with established standards.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in machining or molding, familiarity with GD&T, and experience with measurement tools like calipers and micrometers.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior quality experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior quality experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct examinations and quality control inspections on non-conforming products, materials, components and parts at receiving stages to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Support MRB processes and coordinate with SQE on supplier quality issues.
• Verify parts received against customer specifications and assist with Return Material Authorization (RMA) and NCM management.
• Coordinate supplier defect-related purges and on-site supplier interactions; communicate defect resolutions to receiving inspection.
