Responsibilities

• Perform preoperational inspections prior to production/packaging start-ups.
• Prepare equipment for quality checks before production/packaging runs.
• Perform quality checks at the beginning and throughout production/packaging runs.
• Ensure products are made and packaged according to specifications; contact Quality Manager with questions.
• Document and file all quality information.
• Monitor product to prevent cross contamination.
• Oversee production to ensure proper manufacture and packaging.
• Collect samples and visually inspect samples for quality.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment.
• Facilitate Master Sanitation Schedule documentation.
• Collect samples for outside laboratory testing when needed.
• Identify and communicate food safety or product integrity issues.
• Work efficiently, safely, and in compliance with procedures.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
