Job summary

Leer Inc. is seeking a Quality Technician to monitor materials and processes in the manufacture of ice merchandisers and walk-in coolers. You will be the main on-floor quality contact, ensuring compliance with procedures and leading corrective actions.

The role requires an associate degree in quality or a related field and at least four years in a quality-related role, with strong Excel and EPICOR experience. Collaboration with suppliers may be involved, and routine inspections are performed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in quality or related field preferred.
• 4+ years in a quality-related role preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office required; advanced Excel preferred.
• Experience with EPICOR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performance against safety, quality, and production metrics.
• Main quality contact for daily quality issues identified on production floor; help decide on product acceptability.
• Create and maintain procedures, job instructions, and checklists to verify product is assembled to specs.
• Collaborate with Operations to define and implement quality requirements and deliverables.
• Coordinate collection of quality data and provide inspection-related reports and supporting data.
