Job summary

Polaris Huntsville is seeking a hands-on inspector to measure parts and assemblies, document inspections, and support production lines with timely problem resolution. The role requires strong attention to detail and collaboration across departments to drive quality improvements.

The position emphasizes adherence to procedures, ability to operate measurement equipment, and willingness to work overtime as production schedules require in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• AA degree or specialized training preferred.
• Demonstrated communication and leadership skills, written and verbal.
• Working knowledge of computer operation, basic and advanced math, and SPC.
• Ability to operate all critical measurement and test equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, process routings, BOMs and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and measure parts, components and assemblies.
• Document inspections using established procedures and formats.
• Support ORV product lines with problem identification and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve non-conformances and dispositions.
• Develop or improve clear inspection procedures to save time and prevent defects.
