Job summary

PTG Silicones, Inc. is seeking a Quality Technician in New Albany, IN, working on a 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM schedule. The role focuses on visual and dimensional inspections using CMMs and other inspection tools to ensure product quality.

You will document results and support root-cause analysis in a climate-controlled, highly automated facility. You will collaborate with Operations to maximize quality and production performance, while adhering to ISO standards (9001, 13485) and related quality

Qualifications

• Experience with CMMs, vision systems, calipers, gauges, or similar measurement tools.
• Manufacturing and/or quality experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Problem-solving mindset.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft 365 skills.
• Familiarity with ISO standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional product inspections.
• Operate Vision Measuring Machines (CMMs) and other inspection equipment.
• Record inspection results and quality data.
• Investigate issues and support root cause analysis.
• Help maintain our ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and FSSC 22000 based quality management system.
• Partner with Operations to maximize quality and production performance.
