Job summary

Trane Technologies in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Quality professional to support PPAP procedures and supplier interactions. You will perform inspections, evaluate test results, and maintain Windchill documentation to ensure conformance with our specifications.

Requires 2+ years in quality roles, reading engineering drawings, and familiarity with precision measuring tools. Expect collaboration with Engineering and Production teams to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Quality.
• Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with quality measurement tools including dimensional/electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Execute PPAP level definition and document in Windchill.
• Notify suppliers of PPAP level and send PSW packages.
• Perform inspections and evaluate against specs and tests.
• Maintain Windchill data and non-conforming material records.
• Lead root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to troubleshoot issues.
