Job summary

TALENT Software Services seeks a Systems Test Role Quality Technician to support medical device product development from concept through commercialization. You will execute tests, assist with test method development, and help validate designs while working with a cross-functional sustaining team.

Responsibilities

  • Support testing efforts to satisfy product requirements for design verification.
  • Execution of testing per documented work instructions.
  • Support Engineers in development and help facilitate Design Validation/Verification.
  • Perform tasks to support test lab daily operations (lab organization, equipment fixturing, stocking supplies).
  • Assisting in equipment tracking and organization.
  • Hardware and software installation.
  • Identify, communicate, and resolve quality issues.
  • Document results of testing thoroughly and accurately.
  • Promote and participate in cross-functional teamwork.

Job description

The Systems Test Role is a Quality Technician who directly supports medical device product development from concept through commercialization by executing tests and assisting with test method development for both new product development and sustaining activities. This role utilizes configurations that closely represent real-world use by healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and meaningful test results.

This position works closely with a high-performing, cross-functional sustaining team to ensure the safety, quality, and compliance of launched products while continuously improving their commercial value throughout the product lifecycle. The role is primarily focused on hands-on testing and supporting test development activities to verify and satisfy product requirements.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Support testing efforts to satisfy product requirements for design verification.
  • Execution of testing per documented work instructions.
  • Support Engineers in development and help to facilitate the execution of Design Validation and Verification activities.
  • Perform various tasks to support test lab daily operations, such as lab organization, assisting in assembling equipment and fixturing, stocking lab supplies, and ordering equipment.
  • Assisting in equipment tracking and organization.
  • Hardware and software installation.
  • Perform tasks that assist in identifying, communicating, and resolving quality issues.
  • Document results of testing thoroughly and accurately.
  • Actively promote and participate in a cross-functional teamwork environment.
