Job summary

MUM Industries is seeking an experienced quality inspector for our MUM Metals OH site in Mentor, OH. The role is full-time, day shift, with hourly pay based on experience and a 6:00am-2:30pm schedule.

Responsibilities include performing inspections, reading drawings, and supporting nonconforming product controls. You will maintain records and work with measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with sheet metal.
• Basic math skills
• Blueprint reading / GD&T
• Ability to use measuring and test equipment
• Basic computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel)
• Ability to work independently as well as work in a team environment.

• Read and interpret drawings.
• Support the Control of Nonconforming Product process by ensuring appropriate segregation, identification and disposition of such product.
• Assist with problem identification, investigation and resolution.
• Perform incoming inspection for raw material and outside processing product.
• Maintain records per Quality Management System requirements.
• Perform product audit production/inspection records.
• Additional duties, as assigned.
