Job summary

Mestek Machinery is seeking a Quality Tech to conduct routine quality inspections across production, including in-process and final checks of new machinery. The role includes reviewing equipment specification checklists, acting as a liaison between production and engineering, and supporting continuous improvement in quality control processes.

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate Engineer Degree (or equivalent) with at least 3 years in manufacturing, and possess experience with precision

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools.
• Understanding electrical and mechanical principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• QC inspection of all new equipment and in-process checks.
• Review checklists for compliance with specifications per customer orders.
• Liaise between production and engineering for updates.
• Design and implement methods for process control and inspection.
• Record and maintain documentation of machinery inspections.
• Ensure compliance with EHS regulations through the safety committee.
• Identify and troubleshoot quality issues and recommend solutions.
• Train production staff in quality control procedures.
• Support service with new equipment installations.
