We are looking for a talented Quality Technician – Level II to join our team specializing in Quality for our Cummins Inc. facility in Rocky Mount, NC.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Support Engineers : By assisting in production-related and inspection jobs, you ensure smooth operations and help maintain high-quality standards.
• Quality Monitoring : Your role in monitoring material quality and making necessary adjustments ensures that the final products meet the required specifications.
• Documentation and Records : Maintaining accurate documentation and records helps in tracking progress, ensuring compliance, and facilitating audits.
• Defect Identification : Comparing physical characteristics of components and products to technical specifications allows you to identify and address defects early in the process.
• Testing and Reporting : Conducting simple tests and preparing technical reports provides valuable data for decision‑making and continuous improvement.
• Measurement Equipment : Your expertise in using and programming measurement equipment ensures precise and reliable product testing.

• Failsafe Effectiveness Checks : Perform checks on assembly lines to ensure failsafe mechanisms are effective.
• Defect Containment : Contain defects on completed products both on‑site and at customer locations.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
