Reeb Millwork in Maryland is seeking a Quality Technician to join our VALUES based organization. You will ensure parts meet specifications and support process improvements.

You will read work orders and shop drawings, identify defects, document results, and collaborate with supervisors to drive corrective actions. Training in DMAIC, Lean, Six Sigma is encouraged; safety and housekeeping are our priorities.

Qualifications

• Quality control and inspection of parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Ability to read shop drawings and templates and interpret work orders.

Responsibilities

• Match unit to label to ensure quality specifications.
• Read and interpret work orders and shop drawings.
• Identify causes of errors or defects.
• Mark items for acceptance or rejection.
• Conceal blemishes and perform minor repairs.
• Discuss validation results with responsible teams and recommend corrective actions.
• Notify supervisors of production problems and assist in corrective actions.
• Assist in developing solutions to address quality concerns and improve productivity.
• Maintain safe, clean working area and adhere to safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
