Job summary

Nokian Tyres is seeking a Quality Technician to act as the QA floor contact and ensure adherence to quality procedures across the plant. You will analyze waste, diagnose root causes, and drive continuous improvement, while compiling reports and supporting operators with lessons learned.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, with an Associate degree preferred; 2+ years in a related field and familiarity with Lean Principles and Oracle are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in technical field preferred; equivalent experience acceptable.
• 2 years minimum experience in related field.
• Experience with Lean Principles preferred.
• Experience with Oracle preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary quality assurance floor contact.
• Ensure conformance to quality procedures and customer standards.
• Eliminate waste across manufacturing areas (mixing, components, finishing).
• Diagnose root causes of waste using established methodologies.
• Prepare reports for supervisor and factory personnel.
• Create One Point Lessons with quality engineers for operators.
