Job summary

Velcro USA Inc. is seeking a Quality Technician I to perform and document laboratory testing of raw materials and finished products. You will maintain test data accuracy, communicate results and nonconformances, and support timely product release.

You will manage testing schedules, prepare releases, and enter data into databases while following safety rules under the supervision of the Laboratory Supervisor. The role emphasizes on-site work and hands-on testing in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior QC laboratory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Ability to learn and effectively use Oracle, ETQ, and Test Suite data acquisition systems.
• Ability to read and interpret written instructions and perform accurate data entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform test procedures per QC Laboratory Manual and customer methods.
• Document test results and issue releases based on verified data.
• Enter test data into databases and maintain accurate records.
• Identify and communicate test abnormalities and maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Maintain safety and 5S housekeeping in the lab.
