Job summary

The Griff Network is seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to perform inspections, testing, and documentation for silicone-coated papers, films, release liners, and related materials. You will verify compliance with specifications and ISO 9001:2015 procedures, ensuring product quality prior to shipment.

This role requires strong attention to detail, process adherence, and collaboration with production, quality, and operations teams on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical cert preferred.
• 1–3 years in quality control, QA, lab testing, or related manufacturing role preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 requirements and quality systems is preferred.
• Experience with coating, liner products, or flexible packaging is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections of raw materials, papers, films, and finished goods.
• Conduct lab and production-floor testing including peel, adhesion, coat weight, caliper, and burst tests.
• Review certificates of analysis, production records, and test results for accuracy before release.
• Record results in quality systems and ensure full traceability of products.
• Identify non-conforming materials and communicate quality concerns to teams.
• Support quality investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
