Job Description

Under the direction of the Quality/Sanitation Staff, this skilled position will be responsible for ensuring:

1. Products are produced and tested to specifications.
2. Compliance with and training on Kraft Standards, HACCP, TQC, SSOP, and Regulatory requirements.

Scope of Work

• Review of pre-op and other documentation & follow-up
• Calibration of lab equipment
• Tagging, testing, and disposition of suspect products
• Water quality analyses
• Pickle & product compliance analyses
• Residual air & opening force testing
• Maintaining lab supplies inventory
• Collection and evaluation of product shelf life samples
• Preparation and processing of microbiological swabs and samples
• Sanitation and quality data entry
• Testing chemical concentrations
• Monitoring light levels
• Monitoring temperature & humidity in product areas
• Conducting sanitation and housekeeping surveys
• Survey of posted forms and controlled documents
• Data collection for belly evaluations
• Addressing complaints and concerns with suppliers
• Preparation of Green Room charts and postings
• Updating procedure documents
• Observations of BOS
• Filing, copying, faxing miscellaneous records
• Serving as emergency backup for other Quality department members
• Performing miscellaneous quality tasks as assigned

Pay rate starting at $21.19
