Job summary

Hendrickson in Navarre, OH is seeking an experienced QA Inspector to support product quality management. You will perform receiving inspections, calibrate gauges, and maintain documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve quality and efficiency.

The role requires two years of welding/fabrication/machining experience or QA exposure, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering or related technical degree preferred.
• Two years of welding, metal fabrication and machining experience a plus.
• Prior experience in Quality Assurance considered a plus.
• Must be computer literate (word processing, databases, and graphing software).
• GD&T knowledge beneficial to position.
• Analytical problem-solving with strong written and verbal communication.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with different levels of management and production personnel.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, evaluate and record results of purchased components using proper inspection per Receiving Inspection Instructions.
• Record results of Receiving Inspections and feedback on vendor performance analysis.
• Inspect and evaluate components and suspensions returned from customers and specify work before stock return.
• Maintain gauge calibration system and ensure gauges are calibrated and documentation is kept.
• Collaborate with inventory control to maintain MRB area accuracy.
• Inspect assembled components for Intraax assembly and monitor wheel end assembly.
• All other activities as directed by management.
