Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in West Michigan partners with Montague-based manufacturers to identify experienced Quality Technicians who can ensure product quality and drive improvements.

You will perform in-process and final inspections, analyze root causes of defects, calibrate equipment, and document results while supporting QA procedures and audits. Salary ranges from $45,000 to $68,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality role.
• Proficient with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Solid understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO 9001 standards.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process and final inspections of manufactured products.
• Perform root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Calibrate and maintain quality control measuring equipment.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Assist in development and revision of quality control procedures.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
