Job summary

Edmund Optics is seeking a Quality Technician II in Florida to perform routine and in-process inspections, maintaining documentation and supporting quality systems. You will work with Manufacturing, Quality, and QE to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.

The role requires reading optical and mechanical drawings, GD&T proficiency, and experience with inspection tools. Associate degree preferred, with 5–7 years related experience, or a high school diploma with 10+ years of

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred, technical, plus 5-7 years related experience.
• High School Diploma with 10+ years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine quality inspections of components for development and production.
• Perform in-process and final quality checks of parts and assemblies.
• Conduct workstation audits and maintain inspection documentation.
• Assist with problem resolution and suggest process improvements.
• Develop and maintain company inspection reports.
• Inspect goods to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Report quality anomalies to supervisor and draft quality reports.
• Identify areas for improvement in QC processes.
• Support Quality Control Lead and Quality Engineer as needed.
