Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Quality Technician II for 1st shift (Mon-Thu 6:00 AM–4:00 PM) in Olive Branch, MS. The role focuses on inspecting product quality and ensuring conformance to specifications within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will create quality reports (NCMRs, SCARs, CARs), conduct audits, manage scrap disposition, and measure tolerances with gauges. Strong problem solving, attention to detail and basic math/computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma is required.
• Forklift/Reach truck driver preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management.
• Working knowledge of basic measuring equipment.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to perform work per instructions and within reasonable time.
• Must possess basic math and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the quality of product and material, following procedures to ensure part and material conformance per specifications.
• Create and complete Quality Standard reports (NCMR's, SCAR's and CAR's) and enter information into database.
• Perform product and workplace audits with documented results.
• Control scrap or rejected parts until disposition is determined.
• Collect and prepare samples for shipment or testing.
• Use gauges and other equipment to measure tolerances and dimensions.
• Utilize MRB (material review board) processes.
• Practice 5S and Safety.
• Able to react to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned.
