Jabil in Prince George, VA is seeking a Quality Technician to join the startup team for new factory operations. You will perform in-process and final inspections, verify conformance to drawings, and document nonconformances to drive improvements.
You will work with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to support containment actions and quality data analysis for continuous improvement. A technical background and hands-on inspection experience are preferred.

Shift: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM (Second Shift)
On-site at our Prince George, VA facility.
This role is to support a new factory in Prince George, VA (onsite) startup manufacturing large form-factor equipment . The product will be large (shipping container size), heavy (50+ tons), and complex . This position will be part of the core factory startup and onboarding team responsible for building the operations and manufacturing staff, fitting out the building, and creating the process flow/work instructions/etc. from the ground up. Skills to include panel and point to point wire assembly, Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, and High-Power Electronic assemblies.
You will help build a culture of quality by performing inspections, identifying and containing issues before they reach the customer, and supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of quality controls. Through inspection, data analysis, problem-solving, and collaboration with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams, you will play a key role in supporting the successful launch and growth of a world-class manufacturing operation.
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, customer, and regulatory requirements.
High School Diploma or GED required .
Associate degree or technical certification in Quality, Manufacturing, Electronics, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of e xperience in a Quality Technician, Quality Inspector, Quality Control, Manufacturing, or Quality Assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
