We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Technician II to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work with a diverse team dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of product quality. The Quality Technician II will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellence by implementing quality control measures, interpreting engineering drawings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities
  • 1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent implementation of quality standards across all operations.
  • 2. Follow work instructions diligently to uphold the highest level of quality.
  • 3. Read and interpret engineering drawings and radiographs to understand product specifications and detect deviations.
  • 4. Collect and compile statistical quality data to identify areas for improvement and monitor the effectiveness of quality control measures.
  • 5. Train the production team on quality control measures, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and product excellence.
  • 6. Review blueprints and specifications, comparing them to produced goods to ensure conformance to design and quality standards.
  • 7. Implement corrective actions promptly to address any issues that may affect product quality.
  • 8. Participate in Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement and efficiency in our processes.
Qualifications
  • 1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Quality Technician role in the manufacturing industry.
  • 2. Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration, ability to follow work instructions, and reading and interpreting engineering drawings and radiographs.
  • 3. Experience in collecting and compiling statistical quality data.
  • 4. Strong knowledge of quality control measures and the ability to train others.
  • 5. Proficiency in reviewing blueprints and specifications and comparing them to produced goods.
  • 6. Proven ability to implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
  • 7. Experience in participating in Kaizen events or similar continuous improvement initiatives.
  • 8. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • 9. High attention to detail and a commitment to product excellence.
  • 10. A relevant certification in Quality Assurance or a related field would be an advantage.

Salary: $24 - $29 per hour
