Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Quality Technician I for 1st shift in Southern Pines, NC. The role focuses on inspection, measurement data collection, and maintaining quality records to support PPAP, NCR, and customer feedback.

You will read blueprints, apply GD&T, and partner with the Quality Engineer to drive root-cause analysis and continuous improvement. Strong math, attention to detail, and experience with calipers, micrometers, and ERP systems are required.

Qualifications

• Five years quality experience in manufacturing, or three with an associate degree.
• Ability to read and understand English instructions and operate measuring tools.
• Advanced math knowledge incl. statistics, geometry.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 and NCR systems.

Responsibilities

• Improve and implement inspection methods for materials.
• Support PPAP and customer returns data collection.
• Dispositon material and coordinate with purchasing.
• Lead problem solving with Quality Engineer.
