Job summary

Cadrex is seeking a Quality Technician I to support manufacturing through development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of processes using core quality methods to meet or exceed customer expectations.

The role involves releasing shipments with proper documentation, applying GD&T, performing first article dimensional verification, and providing on-floor support with accurate measurement techniques. A related associate degree and hands-on inspection experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in a related field.
• 1+ years metal fabrication/inspection experience preferred.
• Quality Technician certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Release product for shipping with proper documentation per customer requirements.
• Understand and apply GD&T concepts in inspection activities.
• Perform dimensional verification of PPAP and first article parts.
• Support production by interpreting and developing manufacturing documentation and teaching measuring techniques.
• Inspect manufactured and raw materials at receiving per process.
• Collect, evaluate, and present quality metrics.
• Operate FARO and Micro-Vu measurement equipment proficiently.
• Attend department meetings as required.
