Boyd is seeking a Quality Technician I to perform manual inspection and operate CMMs and optical comparators on the production floor. The role requires attention to detail, ability to read drawings and specifications, and basic Excel MCOSMOS software usage.

This entry-level position offers hands-on training, requires a high school diploma, and may include light lifting up to 50 lbs and annual eye exams; EEO policy and safety standards apply.

Competenze

• High school diploma is the minimum education level for this position.
• College degree in a technical field is helpful but not required.
• Experience in inspection or calibration is helpful.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and MCOSMOS is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and legal documents.

Mansioni

• Operation of manual and CNC CMMs.
• Setup and operation of Optical Comparators.
• Use of inspection tools (height gauges, calipers, pin gauges, thread gauges, countersink gauges).
• Completion of inspection reports and related paperwork.
• Set example in following procedures, rules, policies, and cleanliness.
