Job summary

Indium Corporation is looking for a Quality Technician I to inspect materials, perform tests, and document results at Utica, NY. The role involves data entry, report generation, and ensuring conformance to quality standards.

You will work with lab tools, interpret drawings, and help maintain certification compliance. The position supports 1st and 2nd shifts, with a salary range of $17.00 to $27.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year work experience required.
• Knowledge of quality standards and statistical concepts preferred.
• Be able to perform statistical analysis using various software packages.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team, as needed to meet goals.
• Demonstrable strong interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills.
• Provide own source of transportation for any local/day travel, including travel between Indium Corporation facilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test incoming materials, work in process, and finished goods.
• Enter data into quality system databases and generate reports.
• Operate relevant test equipment and ensure documentation.
• Read and interpret drawings and diagrams.
• Maintain quality holds and containment of non-conforming material.
• Uphold standards to maintain certifications and quality practices.
