Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1 year work experience or equivalent
• Knowledge of quality standards and statistical concepts preferred
• Be able to perform statistical analysis using software packages
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Perform testing for acceptance of incoming raw materials and production materials
• Enter data into quality system databases for test, inspection, and calibration records
• Follow written operating procedures
• Operate computer programs to generate reports and quality certifications
• Maintain quality hold cages and containment of non-conforming material
• Read and interpret simple drawings and diagrams
• Exercise authority to accept or reject material and remove monitoring equipment
• Uphold quality standards and participate in related certifications
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
