Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking a Quality Technician I/II/III to oversee the parts quality process across the organization. You will partner with internal units to ensure precise inspection of incoming parts and support Quality Management Systems, data collection, reporting, and analysis.

You will work with leaders to improve quality, processes, and overall performance. The role involves audits, implementing corrective actions, cross-training across departments, and supporting NPI/ECN

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts process and product audits to ensure adherence to SOPs and quality standards.
• Implements resolutions from basic to moderately complex problems.
• Exercises judgement within procedures to determine solutions.
• Implements process improvements to continuously improve quality.
• Cross trains in multiple departments or stations as needed.
• Assists with NPI/ECN changes and other duties as assigned by Quality Supervisor or Manager.
• Suggests and implements improvements of existing equipment, designs, and/or processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Resolves problems with assistance from peers or supervisors.
