Job summary

The AZEK Company in Boise, ID is seeking a Quality Technician I to audit production quality, manage quality records, and support improvements in a 12-hour night shift (6pm–6:15am) on a 2-2-3 schedule.

You will use quality tools to verify measurements, coordinate with Production and Engineering, and ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) preferred.
• Experience with ISO9000/QS9000/TS16949 Quality Systems & Auditing, a plus.
• Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mathematical abilities.
• Must be able to accurately read quality measuring tools (caliper, micrometer, square, and tape measure) - preferred.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment where temperatures can become very hot depending on the weather.
• Must be self-directed and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Ability and interest in working a 12 hour shift on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Physical Demands:

Ability to work in an environment that can become hot/cold (temperature) depending on the weather. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; climb ladders; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must individually lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., infrequently.
