Job summary

Stored Energy Systems LLC (SENS) in Longmont, CO, is seeking a Quality Technician I to ensure product and process quality across incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods. You will perform inspections, audits, and documentation to verify conformance to engineering specs, quality standards, and internal procedures, with on-floor quality oversight via OOBA and calibration checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and production documentation.
• Understanding of calibration systems, document control, and nonconformance handling.
• Basic shop math skills (fractions, decimals, and geometric calculations).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, email, etc.).
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished goods to verify quality against drawings and specs.
• Perform routine audits (OOBA) and support calibration verification activities.
• Record inspection results in quality systems and generate documentation.
• Identify nonconformances and support corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure proper control of documents and maintenance of calibration records.
