Position Details

Position: First (1st) Shift Quality Technician I

Shift: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday

Pay: $23.52 per hour

Core Responsibilities
  • Perform case-picking by hand (up to 35 lbs.), approximately 60% of the day.
  • Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including Electric Pallet Jack and Reach Truck (approximately 40%).

  • Minimum of 6 months experience operating a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) forklift or Reach Truck.

Role Purpose

Provide leadership, training, and support for maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS). Ensure compliance with regulations, customer requirements, and company policies. Lead the QA team, assign work schedules, train associates, and monitor compliance and progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and report on QMS implementation, compliance, and effectiveness through audits and feedback.
  • Facilitate QA training for new and existing staff.
  • Review documents for accuracy and clarity.
  • Collaborate with teams to advance quality initiatives using appropriate tools and methodologies.
  • Support compliance with FDA, DEA, ATF, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Perform daily QA activities as directed.
  • Develop and maintain QMS documentation.
Minimum Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Forklift operator certification or completion of training within 30 days of employment.
  • Associate degree or equivalent preferred.
