Job summary

Keel is seeking a Quality Technician I to perform basic inspection and testing of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure they meet customer and company specifications. The role works under close supervision within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include measuring parts, documenting results, initiating non-conformances, and communicating adjustments to production. Strong attention to detail and basic MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and use tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

• Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support ISO9001 quality system requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Mission:

The Quality Technician I performs basic inspection and testing activities to ensure incoming materials, in

process production, and finished products meet customer and company specifications. This role works

under close supervision and supports quality assurance processes within a manufacturing

environment.

Physical Requirements:

• May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance,
• stoop or kneel regularly.
• May lift or carry 50lbs. Weights exceeding 50lbs will require mechanical means to maneuver
