Job summary

Keel is seeking a Quality Technician I to perform basic inspection and testing to ensure incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products meet specifications. This role operates under close supervision within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include measuring parts, approving materials, documenting results, and supporting ISO9001 quality system requirements. Travel between facilities is possible; strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 0–2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and use tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

Your Mission

The Quality Technician I performs basic inspection and testing activities to ensure incoming materials, in process production, and finished products meet customer and company specifications. This role works under close supervision and supports quality assurance processes within a manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

• May lift or carry 50lbs. Weights exceeding 50lbs will require mechanical means to maneuver
