Job summary

Alfa Laval in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, is seeking a Quality Technician to oversee inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to meet company quality standards, ASME code, and customer requirements.

You will assess production areas, identify non-conformities, verify calibration of QA equipment, and support audits and inspections. This role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years in heat exchanger QC environments, with strong attention to detail and communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college/technical degree preferred.
• 3+ years in heat exchanger manufacturing quality control environment or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Deadline-driven with customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently or in a team; adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and lead by example.
• Assess quality and product integrity per ASME, customer ITP, and regulatory standards.
• Identify non-conforming products and perform root-cause analysis.
• Verify calibration and specifications of QA equipment.
• Assist Leads and follow established procedures for production and regulatory compliance.
• Audit manufacturing activities for conformance to standards and policies.
• Prepare Non-Conformity Reports and document test results.
• Perform receiving inspection for product identification, material requirements, and MTRs.
