Job summary

Altium Packaging in Harvard, IL is seeking a Quality Technician to audit, test and measure finished goods to ensure customer standards and GMP adherence.

You will apply basic statistics, perform laboratory testing, and communicate quality issues to shift leaders to drive corrective actions.

The role supports safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement within our manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1 year of related experience.
• ASQ certification or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of basic statistics and metrology concepts.

Responsibilities

• Audit compliance with GMP policies.
• Apply statistical tools to monitor plant performance and finished goods.
• Complete laboratory testing and sample collection at established intervals.
• Continually seek process improvements and make recommendations to management.
• Audit compliance with GMP policies.
• Perform inspections during molding, packaging and loading.
• Audit for compliance to control plan requirements including process parameters.
• Perform incoming inspection of raw materials.
• Complete dimensional checks and report on product.
• Perform in-process inspections of manufactured product during molding, packaging and loading.
• Perform cycle counts and/or inventory of finished goods as required.
• Communicate quality issues and out of specifications conditions to appropriate personnel and shift leaders.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
