Job summary

Carterra is seeking a Quality Technician to support testing and release of products including fluidic subassemblies, reagents, and components. The role involves working with complex test equipment and contributing to Manufacturing, Engineering, and scientists’ teams.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts, following GMP SOPs, and maintaining testing records while collaborating across departments to meet production goals in a dynamic lab environment.

Qualifications

• Inspect incoming parts from suppliers using calipers, micrometers, and similar measurement tools.
• Inspect manufactured parts per work instructions using proprietary tools and fixtures.
• Follow SOPs and document test results in alignment with GMP requirements.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and other departments to support production goals.
• Read and interpret technical documents including safety data sheets, prints, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Safely handle and dispose of hazardous chemicals in accordance with procedures and use PPE.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including general labor activities as needed.
• Prefer 1–3 years of experience in inspection/quality control and familiarity with ISO9001 or similar QMS.
