Job summary

Sunny Sky Products, LLC in Douglassville, PA, is seeking a Quality Technician Floater to support QA through calibration, sampling, and documentation in a manufacturing plant. You will assist with environmental monitoring, CIP reviews, and QA testing, ensuring accurate records and equipment maintenance.

The role requires 1+ year in QA/lab in beverage or manufacturing, attention to detail, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or coursework in science-related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical and regulatory information.
• Basic mathematics and laboratory calculation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily QA/PRP walkthroughs and leak checks.
• Perform calibration and verification of QA/laboratory equipment, including thermometers, refractometers/Brix equipment, pipettes, and pH meters.
• Maintain accurate calibration records and identify equipment approaching its calibration date.
• Coordinate the repair or replacement of malfunctioning QA equipment.
• Maintain QA and laboratory inventory, including reagents, standards, test strips, swabs, sample containers, and laboratory supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and check expiration dates.
• Perform weekly environmental monitoring swabs and assist with monthly pathogen environmental monitoring.
• Collect, organize, and maintain product retain samples.
• Assist with reviewing and trending environmental, laboratory, GMP, and other QA data.
