Job summary

Niagara Bottling, LLC is seeking a Quality Technician at the TEMPLE plant to execute food safety, quality and laboratory requirements across production. The role reports to the QA Manager and supports batching, calibration, sampling and standardized testing to ensure specifications are met.

The ideal candidate will participate in HACCP and safety teams, follow GMP policies, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while lifting up to 50 lbs. 12-hour shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and communicate in English.
• Able to work 12 hour shift (days or nights) on a rotating schedule.
• Must follow GMP policy and PPE requirements in production areas.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work under pressure in a very fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all parameters of food safety and quality are adhered to and maintained throughout the facility.
• Calibrate lab and line equipment for accurate results.
• Collect in-process and finished product samples and conduct testing to meet specifications.
• Identify and isolate product not meeting standards and aid in troubleshooting.
• Review food safety and quality records and participate in HACCP and Safety teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
