Job summary

Niagara Bottling in Vernon, CA is seeking a Plant Quality Technician to enforce food safety and quality standards across the production facility. You will participate in HACCP teams, calibrate lab and line equipment, collect samples, and conduct tests to ensure specifications are met.

This role requires a high school diploma, English proficiency, ability to work 12-hour shifts, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and communicate in English.
• Able to work 12 hour shift (days or nights) on rotating schedule.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must follow GMP policy and wear PPE in production areas.
• Experience in field or manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all parameters of food safety and quality are adhered to throughout the facility.
• Assist with batching chemicals/ingredients for production.
• Calibrate lab and line equipment for accurate results.
• Collect in-process and finished product samples.
• Conduct standardized qualitative and quantitative testing to ensure specifications.
• Perform aseptic testing for microbial contamination.
• Review food safety and quality records.
• Actively participate in plant teams (HACCP, Safety, etc.).
