Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Quality Technician on the second shift (3pm–11pm) in Wisconsin. You will inspect products using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, hardness testers, UPC scanners, and other lab equipment, and operate CMM and Vision System Inspection equipment.

You will complete Non-Conforming Material Reports, perform packaging conformance audits, read blueprints, and verify incoming raw materials.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
One year of quality technician experience required.
Understanding of metrology fundamentals.
Basic Excel and Outlook skills.
Ability to read blueprints and documentation.

Responsibilities

Use a variety of quality inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, hardness testing, UPC scanners, paint thickness testers and other lab equipment.
Operate CMM and Vision System Inspection equipment.
Complete Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMR’s) daily, as needed.
Ensure packaging requirements are met by completing daily packaging conformance audits.
Complete dimensional inspections of incoming raw material.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships within team environment.
Perform basic shop floor math, such as fraction to decimal conversion, arithmetic and units of measure conversion.
Consciously abide by all safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment.
