Job summary

The Timken Company in the United States is seeking a Quality Technician DSQR to provide quality support across value streams and serve as DSQR for Aerospace customers. You will read drawings, perform FAI, and ensure conformance to specifications while promoting safe work practices.

This role requires collaboration with operations, engineering and quality teams, training, MRB involvement, and occasional travel up to 10%. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Read, interpret, and adhere to Timken and Customer written specifications and product drawings.
• Complete First Article Inspections (FAI), including product measurements.
• Support disposition of non-conformances and be a PRB member for MRB.
• Develop and review required quality documents.
• Travel up to 10% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe practices and adhere to all safety requirements and PPE.
• Obtain and maintain required training and certification to act as DSQR for multiple customers (Aerospace).
• Perform internal audits as required and participate in Outgoing Quality Audits.
• Support customer visits and external audits.
• Communicate with operations, engineering, support areas, and customer service.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.
