Responsibilities:
  • Perform standardized quality control checks on manufacturing processes and products
  • Maintain calibrated test equipment and prepare test data
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, Lean)
  • Manage receiving inspection and non-conforming material processing
  • Handle customer returns, failure analysis, and reporting
  • Prepare quality documentation such as COC/COA and test reports
  • Manage supplier quality issues and corrective actions
  • Manage test equipment and testing procedures
  • Identify and address non-conforming materials or process errors
  • Troubleshoot quality issues and assist with product development testing
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legal standards
  • Create training materials and operating instructions
  • Adapt to changing activities and projects
Qualifications:

Minimum: High School diploma or GED, with 3 years of quality experience in manufacturing, good math and communication skills, proficiency with office software, ability to use precision measuring tools, and physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Preferred: Post-secondary certification in quality or industrial engineering, ASQ certifications, knowledge of advanced quality tools (PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC), and statistical analysis skills.
