Job summary

Nox Group seeks a Quality Technician to support data center and large-scale construction projects nationwide, with emphasis on Southwest sites. The role ensures installations meet National/City codes, customer specs, and Nox Group’s First Class Work standard.

You will develop quality plans, coordinate inspections, document test results, and address nonconforming work while maintaining site safety across varied conditions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the industrial electrical industry.
• Strong communication with supervisor, coworkers, and project team.
• Electrical code and standards knowledge.
• Detail-oriented with good follow-through.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Self-starter with organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of project scope, quality requirements, and quality documents.
• Coordinate with operations to schedule inspections and tests to meet goals.
• Prepare inspection/test reports and maintain quality files.
• Verify inspection/test compliance with codes and documents.
• Interpret codes and standards to determine compliance.
• Assist with test documentation and organize quality records.
• Identify and correct nonconforming work per quality plans.
• Perform receiving inspection of materials and equipment as needed.
• Provide quality input to task planning meetings.
• Examine site conditions and identify issues and cost-saving measures.
• Identify safety hazards and take corrective actions to minimize risk.
• Understand and implement lockout/tagout procedures safely.
